Based in the historic city of York, UK, we are The Ebor Quartet, a professional string quartet available for weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and other celebratory events across the country. We are an experienced ensemble playing and performing at many notable venues across the UK, Europe, and internationally. So, if you're planning an event, we'd love to make your day both special and memorable.
After years of committed study and practice, The Ebor Quartet became a professional ensemble, performing for packed audiences at a variety of venues. We are classically trained musicians who can add style and a unique sound to your wedding, drinks reception, event or recording.
Our repertoire features all the classical standards for your event, as well as many genres such as film, opera and pop covers.
Performing acoustically, we can entertain your guests indoors and outdoors and engage them before, during and after events. The choice is all up to you!

"We booked The Ebor Quartet for our original wedding date- June 6 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone four times. With each change, our contact, Conor, could not have been more understanding, accommodating and was always so quick to respond which, when you are trying to rearrange a wedding in a day, was hugely appreciated! He always had kind words and said nothing was a problem although we know it took a lot of rearranging on his part. Their playlist is excellent- a great mix of classic and modern to choose from. I asked for some from the list and also for some specific songs that weren’t from the list. They took the time to produce the arrangements (some very complicated) and sent them through to make sure we were happy with everything- and they exceeded all expectations.
